ARTIFICIAL GRASS INSTALLATION IN URMSTON, BUILT FOR FAMILY GARDENS AND EVERYDAY USE

From established family homes in Urmston to gardens across Flixton, Davyhulme and surrounding Trafford neighbourhoods, outdoor spaces often have to cope with clay-heavy ground, shaded areas and regular rainfall. A lasting artificial lawn depends on proper preparation beneath the surface, not simply laying turf over the existing garden.

Our artificial grass installation service begins by assessing drainage, levels, access and edging before constructing a stable, free-draining sub-base. This creates a lawn that stays level, drains efficiently and remains practical throughout the year with very little ongoing maintenance.

Whether you’re replacing a muddy family lawn with dog-friendly artificial grass, improving an outdoor area for a school or nursery, or upgrading a commercial outdoor space, we’ll recommend the right grass and installation method for how the area will actually be used.

We supply and install artificial grass throughout Urmston, including Flixton, Davyhulme, Woodsend, Crofts Bank and neighbouring Trafford areas. We also provide artificial grass maintenance and repairs to help established lawns continue looking and performing at their best.

Ian came to the house to do a quick survey and discuss the project. We agreed on a price quicky and easily. His team were here for one full day then a few hours the next day for a 4mx5m area of grass, some groundwork and moving some flags to form a shed base (which was all including in the very acceptable price!). Very impressed with their work ethic and efficiency. Did a neat, professional job and cleaned up after themselves, even putting my gardening tools back in the shed after moving it. Would highly recommend for anyone.

Ian and the team were fantastic. Gave me a competitive quote and advice on a waterlogged area where we wanted Artificial grass and a soak away was also put in. Quote to implementation within 3 weeks which was impressive in a busy period of time. Would recommend to anyone looking to install fake/artificial grass.

From the initial enquiry to the finished product, rest assured this is a professional company. Ian and his team got on with the job, were neat and tidy throughout the whole process of relaying our old lawn with artificial grass. We were kept informed at every stage. All were polite and friendly, all at a very reasonable cost. I would not have any hesitation in recommending "As Good As Grass" .

I've had my artificial grass since 2007 and it was looking rather sad full of moss and weeds. I booked the cleaning service and was amazed at the result, my lawn looks like new. Reiss and Ethan did a fantastic job they worked very hard. It was unbelievable to see the amount of stuff that came out of the grass, it looks fantastic. I would recommend this service and the two lads 100%.

I used this company to install some artificial grass on the balcony of my flat in Salford Quays. It was very easy to arrange and the fitters did a great job. Tidy, efficient and friendly and a good price. Highly recommended

KEEP YOUR URMSTON ARTIFICIAL LAWN LOOKING ITS BEST

Artificial grass stays green with very little effort — but leaves, moss, and constant footfall can gradually flatten the fibres and dull the colour.

Our turf cleaning and restoration service brings your lawn back to life by lifting the pile, removing debris, clearing moss and refreshing the surface. Available across Urmston, Flixton, and Davyhulme — for both our own installations and third-party turf.

How We Install Artificial Grass

ARTIFICIAL GRASS BUILT FOR URMSTON WEATHER

Urmston sees frequent rainfall, shaded plots from mature trees, and a lot of clay-based soil — all of which make natural lawns difficult to keep healthy. Our artificial grass systems are engineered to stay usable, tidy, and mud-free all year round.

  • Fast Drainage: Designed to cope with Trafford’s regular rain, preventing puddles and waterlogging.
  • Clay-Soil Ready: Works perfectly on the heavy, compacted ground common across Urmston and Flixton.
  • Low Maintenance: No mowing, re-seeding or constant repairs — just simple seasonal brushing.
  • Trusted Locally: Installed across family gardens, nurseries and commercial spaces in Urmston and wider Trafford.

Whether you’re upgrading a shaded yard near Lostock Park or replacing patchy turf in a Flixton semi, our systems are designed to outperform natural grass in every season.
