At As Good As Grass, we helped bring a brand-new family-friendly mini golf course to life in Folkestone. The area had previously been an unused, overgrown plot of land. Working from the client’s pre-prepped base, our team delivered a seamless, professional installation using our premium 10mm Golf Pro putting turf.
This installation covered approximately 400sqm of high-performance artificial golf turf. The client wanted a space that was fun, durable, and suitable for all ages — with consistent ball roll and minimal maintenance. Our putting grass provided the perfect fit, backed by our experienced installation team.
The land was originally overgrown and unusable, with no defined structure. Once cleared and prepared by the client, the key challenge for our team was the number of curves, edges and tight transitions throughout the course layout.
Mini golf requires extremely accurate cutting — especially where turf meets concrete edging — so achieving a smooth, crease-free finish demanded skill and precision.
We carried out a full surface-only installation using our specialist 10mm Golf Pro grass. Every section was carefully shaped, tensioned, and trimmed to ensure a true putting surface across the entire course.
