After more than a decade of daily use, Devonshire Primary School’s original Play Care Artificial Grass surface needed a replacement. Over three days, our team removed the old turf, installed new concrete edging, and laid 380m² of fresh Play Care grass, leaving the school with a cleaner, safer, and more usable play area.
Originally installed by As Good As Grass 11 years ago, the surface had reached the end of its lifespan. This replacement project required full removal, fresh edging, and reinstallation across 380m² — completed within three working days.
The school needed a safe and durable replacement that could handle high footfall while addressing the issue of sloping ground. Slopes often become slippery, so the new installation had to provide more grip and usability.
We supplied and installed Play Care Artificial Grass, part of our dedicated Schools & Nurseries installation service. Our team also added new concrete edging around the perimeter for a secure, long-lasting finish.
